Owing its quality to local rice, pure water, a suitable climate for sake making, and expert skill, we have been producing high quality, aromatic and soft sake since its founding.
With the water from the Kaji river which flows in Kita-echigo, the northern part of the Echigo area, the rice such as Gohyakumangoku and Koshitanrei, grown locally in Niigata prefecture, and inherited traditional skills developed for over 200 years, our sake features a subtle sweetness. It makes us imagine a graceful woman with her elegant, sophisticated but strong character.
